Born on Prince Edward Island, Canada, Ray moved to the United States at age 3. She didn’t moved far though. For 60 years she lived in Maine, working in factories from the age of 15. After that she jumped around until she settled in New Hampshire 8 years ago to spend her golden years.

Ray has two sons, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great-great grandchild born just last week.

And like many New Englanders of a certain age, she was a huge Red Sox fan!
